cash for clunkers requirements

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) will be administering the program. - Cash for Clunkers Requirements - Car dealers, not consumers, will need to register for the program on www.cars.gov, the only federal official website. If you have a car that is eligible, you can contact a local car dealership to help with the program. Dealer Registration for the program began on 7.24.2009 CARS.

In an effort to sweeten the incentive for those who benefit from the allocation of government discount Car System (aka "cash-for-Clunkers"), Nissan would have sent its engineers back to the laboratory in order to squeeze the last mile from each gallon of fuel. As it is written, the program offers a sweet incentive when consumers are buying vehicles with greater efficiency (based on the difference in fuel economy between the vehicle purchased and the trade-in).
